Radius Kick-Off- 11:00am, August 30th @ Southcliff
Kick-off the school year with Christ-centered worship at Radius! Join us for an incredible time of worship with Blake Hicks and biblical teaching from our college minister, Spencer Plumlee. After Radius, we will have a FREE LUNCH for all FRESHMEN and any upperclassmen who brings a freshmen (cost for non-freshmen: $2.00). Also, Blake will be promoting his new CD (www.blakehicksmusic.com) and doing a mini-concert during lunch.
Small Group Kick-Off- 6:00-8:00pm, September 13th @ Alice Carlson Elementary (across the street from Shirley)
Free Food, Crazy Games and Real Community will all be happening at the small group kick-off this year! Small Groups are the heart of the ministry at Southcliff, and we want to see everyone of you plug into a group. At the kick-off, students will have a chance to check out small groups and meet small group leaders. The free cook-out, fun games and community with other students are all designed to help each of you get plugged in! And, it’s within walking distance of TCU’s Campus!
Radius Parents Day- 11:00am, October 4th @ Southcliff
Have your parents in town and don’t know what to do with them? Bring them to Southcliff for a special “Parents Edition” of Radius. Bring your parents on this special day and give them a peak of what Radius is all about!
Ministry to the Homeless- 5:00-9:00pm, October 23rd
Join the students from Southcliff as we go and meet the needs of the homeless here in Fort Worth. Handing out food, lending a listening ear and sharing the good news of Christ will all be a part of this special evening. Don’t miss this opportunity to give back to the community by sharing the love of Christ with Fort Worth.
Amplify (Fall Retreat)- November 6-8th @ Riverbend Retreat Center, Glen Rose, TX
Our annual Fall Retreat will take place in Glen Rose, TX (1 hour from Fort Worth) again this year! Dr. Steven Smith has agreed to return as our speaker and will be doing a special series on the Church. And, as always we will have great teaching, amazing times of worship, fun games, paintball and our annual game of CAPTURE THE FLAG! Don’t miss this amazing weekend as we AMPLIFY our relationship with God and with others.
